Do you struggle with intimate relationships and getting what you want in romance? I work with adult individuals and couples, specializing in client issues around sex and relationships, including sex, romance, and love addictions. My specialty grew initially from the success of my memoir Loose Girl: A Memoir of Promiscuity, when I discovered thousands of people suffering in similar ways that I had. I work primarily from an existential-humanistic perspective, utilizing other skills when necessary. I am very interested in the ways in which our culture works to set many people up for failure in both sex and intimacy.
I counsel clients with a range of romantic and sexual behaviors. What all my clients have in common is a feeling of unhappiness around their sex or love lives. I'm constantly exploring with my clients the ways they create obstacles to intimacy with others.
